Flood and Overflow Detector
A flood and overflow sensor can help raise an alert when water is detected in a suitable monitored location. It is an optional extra for a compatible telecare system.

Water detection around the home
The sensor is positioned where a leak or overflow could be a concern. If water reaches the sensing area, compatible equipment can send an alert through the telecare base unit to the monitoring service.
Our team can discuss the area you want to monitor and the appropriate detector model. Positioning matters because a sensor can only respond to the conditions it is designed and installed to detect.
A water alert does not identify every possible leak or automatically stop the water supply. Agree who can respond and what practical help is available if an alert is received.

Does the detector turn off a tap or water supply?
This listing is for an alert sensor. It does not include an automatic water shut-off system.
Can it detect every leak in a property?
No. Detection depends on the sensor model and placement. Tell us which area you want to monitor so we can discuss a suitable setup.
Does the £75 price include monitoring?
It is the one-off equipment purchase price including VAT. A compatible system and suitable monitoring arrangements are needed for monitored alerts.
