Our inactivity monitors are designed to activate when there is no activity detected in a room during specific daily or nightly time intervals. They achieve this by connecting with your telecare alarm base unit, which is in turn linked to our 24-hour monitoring center. This added layer of support is especially valuable for individuals with specific needs or those who require extra attention.

The sensors offer flexibility with two time windows each day. If no activity is detected during these periods, an alert is sent to our monitoring center team. They will then reach out with a check-in phone call to your home. In the event we don’t receive a response, we’ll initiate contact with your designated contacts according to your specified order of preference.

We understand that everyone has unique daily routines. Some are more active in the morning, while others come alive in the evening. That’s why our inactivity alert sensor allows for customization based on your preferences and habits.

For those who prefer a hassle-free option, we also provide default time windows. These are set for 8 am to 10 am, ideal for the morning hours when many are waking up, and from 9 pm to 11 pm, perfect for bedtime routines. It’s all about putting you in control of your safety and comfort.

Battery Replacement

If you’ve set up a two-hour time window twice a day, you can typically count on the battery lasting anywhere from 12 to 18 months. Plus, you’ll be pleased to know that replacing the battery is a simple and hassle-free task!

Our inactivity alert sensor is here to provide you with peace of mind, but it operates within specific time windows that you set during purchase or installation. It’s essential to be aware that there might be a delay when you need assistance. For instance, if an incident occurs just after your selected activity window ends, the sensor won’t trigger an immediate call for help. Instead, assistance will be activated at the end of the next scheduled window. We want you to have full awareness of this potential delay so you can plan accordingly for your safety.

Your Pendant Button: Your Quick Lifeline

While our inactivity alert sensor is here to keep you safe, we strongly recommend using the pendant button whenever you can in emergencies. It’s a direct and immediate way to get help when you need it most. The pendant button can speed up response times and ensure you get the help you need quickly.

Double the Safety with Multiple Sensors

For extra safety and faster response times, think about using two inactivity sensors in different rooms. Set them to monitor various time periods throughout the day. This way, you’ll reduce the time you might have to wait for assistance, and our 24-hour monitoring center will be even more responsive. When placing your order for a digital/broadband telecare system, you’ll have the option to include one or more inactivity detectors.

If you don’t have a phone-line or broadband at home, during your order of your GSM telecare system, you’ll have the opportunity to add one or more inactivity detectors.
