A chair exit pad can help raise an alert when someone gets out of a monitored chair, according to the agreed setup. The £190 kit includes a transmission box and one chair pad.

Chair exit alerts tailored to the person
Our current occupancy controller works with a compatible chair sensor pad to report occupancy changes. The controller can provide sound and light indications, with the alert behaviour configured around the person’s routine. The £190 kit includes the transmission unit and one chair pad. A separate enuresis pad is not included.
The pad and transmission box are used with a compatible telecare system. The response should be agreed around the person’s routine and the support available when they leave the chair.
It may be useful where an unexpected chair exit is a concern. Our team can discuss the chair, the intended placement and whether this type of alert would be suitable.
The sensor reports a change associated with the chair being vacated. It does not confirm that someone has fallen, prevent them from standing up or replace personal assistance.

Replacement chair pad: £50 including VAT
If you already have the compatible transmission box, you may only need a replacement pad. The £50 replacement does not include the transmission box. Contact us with your customer number and equipment details so we can match the correct part and explain fitting and testing.
