A bed exit pad can help raise an alert when someone leaves the bed, according to the agreed telecare setup. The complete £190 kit includes a transmission box and one bed pad.

Bed exit monitoring around an agreed routine
Our current occupancy controller works with a compatible bed sensor pad to report occupancy changes. The controller can provide sound and light indications, with the alert behaviour configured around the person’s routine. The £190 kit includes the transmission unit and one bed pad. A separate enuresis pad is not included.
The pad works with the transmission box and a compatible telecare system. Our team will discuss when leaving the bed should produce an alert and how that alert will be received and handled.
It may be useful as part of a support plan where unexpected movement at night is a concern. The person’s normal routine, bed setup and the help available should guide the choice of equipment and settings.
A bed exit alert does not identify the reason someone has got up or show where they go afterwards. It supports an agreed response plan and does not replace personal care or supervision.

Replacement bed pad: £50 including VAT
If you already have the compatible transmission box, you may only need a replacement pad. The £50 replacement does not include the transmission box. Contact us with your customer number and equipment details so we can match the correct part and explain fitting and testing.

Can I buy just a replacement bed pad?
Yes. A replacement bed pad is £50 including VAT. It does not include the transmission box. Contact us with your customer number and current equipment details to arrange the correct replacement.

The behaviour depends on the compatible equipment and agreed settings. Our team will explain the available configuration for your setup.
