An additional monitored environmental alert
The current monitored carbon monoxide device combines an audible carbon monoxide alarm with a radio alert to a compatible receiving system. Test and silence controls and indicator lights support routine checks. We will confirm the supplied model and its connection to your telecare system.
The detector is registered to a compatible telecare system so an activation can be passed to the monitoring service. The team follows the response arrangements agreed for the customer.
A monitored alert can be useful where the person may not recognise the concern or remember to press a pendant button. The equipment and response should be selected around the person and their home.
Carbon monoxide detection and smoke detection serve different purposes. Use the correct equipment for the intended risk and follow the current manufacturer’s positioning, testing and safety instructions.

Is this the same as a smoke detector?
No. This page is for carbon monoxide detection. A smoke detector is a separate product for a different type of environmental alert.
Will it connect to my existing telecare unit?
